The kiln was completed in April 2024 and is now in regular use for a variety of ceramics, usually firing to cone 9 - 10. I am planning an 1100 firing for architectural terracotta tiles made by our children's holiday club and destined for our own Roman column which will go in Caersws near to the Roman site there, and am interested in any proposals which will test the kiln's capabilities. Results seem to improve with each firing.
